Bridgestone Battlax BT46

The Bridgestone Battlax BT46 Motorcycle Tyre picks up where the ever popular BT45 tyre left off. The BT-46 is a sports touring Tyre which offers fantastic all-round performance and good durability.
- Renewal of an icon with modern technology
- Improvement in all wet performance areas
- Reduced irregular wear
- Inverted V-Shape front pattern
- Increased performance in wet conditions
- UM application - Tubeless Tyre can be mounted on a Tube-type rim if used with a tube
The Bridgestone Battlax BT46 Motorcycle Tyre has a Silica-Rich compound on the Rear Tyre which ensures high grip performance in low temperature conditions at the early stage of riding and exhibits excellent wet performance. They are also constructed using a combination of NanoPro-Tech and RC Polymer. Bridgestone's advanced NanoPro-Tech technology enhances the performance characteristics of the Tyre by controlling the interaction between polymer, filler materials and other rubber chemicals on a molecular level. This helps reduce friction, heat and tread deformation during tyre rotation, leading to better tread grip and longer wear life. Polymer improves wear resistance of Tyres, and silica is effective for wet performance. Although these two compounds are usually not compatible, the potential of both compounds is drastically increased by promoting affinity between them. RC Polymer for motorcycles, developed using Bridgestone’s key technology NanoPro-Tech, contributes to the improvement of wet performance and longer wear life.
An additional feature of these Tyres include the inverted V-shape front pattern which has been adopted, it tackles working forces on the tyre to reduce any irregular wear that may occur. This creates a Tyre which works in all conditions, whilst still offering a longer life for planned adventures.
Most of the BT46 Tyres use a UM Application, meaning that a Tubeless tyre can be mounted on a Tube-type rim if used with a tube.
